On June 4-8 2023, the 11th World Congress of Chemical Engineering #WCCE11 took place in Buenos Aires (Argentina), organized by the Argentinian Association of Chemical Engineers (AAIQ). Under the global theme: ‘The global chemical engineering working for a better future world’, this scientific meeting hosted 8 joint & special events, 22 plenary sessions, 13 parallel sessions, 80+ posters, 850+ attendes, 150+ speakers.
Our researcher Gemma Raluy from the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation (FHa) participated in the joint event « CIBIQ2023-II Ibero-American Congress on Chemical Engineering », within the GS10-Global Symposium on “Green Hydrogen: an alternative that reduces emissions and cares for our planet” within the session of Sustainability & Regulations, with the oral contribution entitled “Underground hydrogen storage: Environmental performance from a life cycle assessment perspective”. The work focuses on the main results of the environmental impacts of salt cavern and porous media performed within the project.
